About

About & method

Vorbelutrioperbir is an independent guide for people who play at a table. Here's who writes it and how.

Who writes this

Corin Ashdown is the pen name of the editor who writes and checks every guide on Vorbelutrioperbir. Every guide is written for players first: what you need to know to buy the right game, build the right character, or follow the story.

How guides are checked

  • Box facts (player count, play time, age) come from the publisher's listing.
  • Rules explanations are checked against the published rulebook before publishing.
  • D&D rules text is only quoted from the System Reference Document (CC-BY-4.0). Everything else is paraphrased.
  • Warhammer lore is summarised in our own words. We don't reproduce Games Workshop rules text or artwork.
  • Pages are dated. When a rule or edition changes, the guide is updated and the date changes.

Our complexity rating

Board game guides carry a 1–5 complexity score. It's our own editorial rating, not BoardGameGeek's figure.
